Computer Upgrade Experience
I don’t really upgrade my computer system that often, I did buy accessories every now and then though. π
Before getting my Mac recently, my last computer purchase was actually 6.5 years ago. The experience *now* is really great, with the MabBook Pro’s performance, when looking at the stunning wallpaper on my newly purchase 21.5″ 1920×1080 full HD LCD monitor – even though it is just an entry level model, I just feel shiok, very shiok.
Looking at the history, I skip Windows Vista and moving into Mac OS X Leopard instead:
30-Nov-2008
Apple MacBook Pro – Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz
May-2002 (Windows XP)
Self-built PC – Intel Pentium 4 1.6 GHz
Overclocked to 2.2 GHz on GIGABYTE 8IRXP motherboard
Jan-1999 (Windows 98, Windows 2000)
Self-built PC – Intel Celeron 300 MHz
Overclocked to 450 MHz on ABIT BH6 motherboard
Jul-1996 (Windows 95)
Built by a shop in Sim Lim Square – Intel Pentium 120 MHz
If I remember correctly, each computer purchase I spent almost the similar amount of $…
But I love the Mac most, ha ha ha!
